I'm trying to build a NASbox using some old computer parts. The RAID needed 3 drives. And FreeNas, using ZFS, said it works best with 8gig of ram.

So, I bought 3x1tb drives and an 8gb RAM kit. Only to find out the CPU on the old motherboard I will be using was bad.

A buddy said he had an old AMD CPU that would work and he sent it to me.
